Beats Assistants
At Beats we are very pleased to have a assistants with a variety of skills and experiences. All of our assistants have worked with children of all ages in many different environments and we strive to create nurturing and fun sessions for all students involved in our classes. We believe in providing the highest level of tuition to allow children to reach their full potential.
All of our staff ae CRB checked and qualified through recognised associations.
 | Lara Ashwell Lara found her passion for dance at a 'late age' and only began attending regular dance classes at 13 years of age. Since then she has gained alot of performance experience in nurmerous shows and dancing at public events. She began assisting in younger classes at age 14 and has slowly built up her teaching skills from there. Her proudest achievement to date is taking a trip to Uganda in 2008 to help refurbish and partly rebuild an orphanage for street children. She has another trip planned for 2010 on a gap year and then starts her studies at Nottingham University to become a Paediatric Nurse. |
 | Alex Richardson Alex has been dancing close to 15 years now and over this time has attended several dance schools. She started to assist teachers in dance classes at McCormick and Ward School of Dance. Alex has studied many disciplines of dance including Ballet, Tap, Modern, Street, Contemporary and more recently Cheerleading! As well as many dance shows, the list of musicals she has performed in is varied and extensive and includes theatre classics such as Copacabana. Alex is a regular assistant at Beats events and a fantastic addition to the team. |
 | Dani Weston Dani is a full-time student at Derby University and is currently studying to become a Primary School Teacher. Her experience includes working at Melbourne Infants School, Chellaston Infant and Junior Schools and Oakwoord Junior School, where she recieved fantastic comments from mentors on her teaching skills & behavioural management abilities.
Dani has danced since 3 years of age and has participated in many dance shows and attended classes at a variety of dance schools. As the newest member of our team she is fitting in brilliantly and is a pleasure to have at our events. |
 | Sadie Chetwyn Sadie has been dancing since the age of 2 and has accomplished many various achievements over the years such as performing at the Royal Albert Hall, Saddlers Wells and Disneyland Paris. She has studied many dance styles including Ballet, Pointe, Tap, Disco and Latin at Caroline Green’s School of Dance, where she continues attending today.
Sadie is currently studying for her A levels in her final year at Chellaston School. She hopes to go to university at the end of the year and study International Development. |
